The Class of 1973 Started This

Now we need YOUR class to join us!

The Charger Pride Scholarship Foundation was started by members of Memorial’s Class of 1973. In 2015, our first year, we raised enough money to award $10,000 worth of scholarships to nine Memorial seniors.

We have now awarded more than $215,000 in scholarships to Memorial students—that includes money contributed by members of TWENTY-TWO Memorial classes. The Class of ’73 continues to be an amazing supporter of the Foundation, but we are over the moon over the support alumni from throughout Memorial’s history are providing. The Class of ’71 has sponsored multiple scholarships for years. The Class of ’72 has sponsored scholarships. The Class of ’78 sponsored a $10,000 scholarship in 2022. Many classes are holding fund-raisers for Charger Pride at their class reunions. It’s wonderful how alumni are recognizing the value of helping Memorial students to go to college or pursue career training, and are putting their dollars behind the effort.

A major goal is to enlist the Tulsa business community in this enterprise. We will get there. We WILL. In the meantime, we rely almost exclusively on the donations of Memorial alumni. Will you help the newest members of our Charger family to realize their college dreams?
