The Class of 1973 Started This

Now we need YOUR class to join us!

The Charger Pride Scholarship Foundation was started by members of Memorial’s Class of 1973. In 2015, our first year, we raised enough money to award $10,000 worth of scholarships to nine Memorial seniors.

We have now awarded more than $80,000 in scholarships to Memorial students—that includes money contributed by members of a dozen Memorial classes, but by far most of it was donated by people from 1973. In addition, the Class of ’73 has funded a $15,000 endowment toward future scholarships.

Now we turn to you, fellow alums. We need your help. From the very beginning, the guiding idea was that if we could get the ball rolling, other alums would join us. We know that people from throughout Memorial’s history are just as generous and community-minded as members of our class are. So we ask you: Will you help the newest members of our Memorial family to realize their college dreams?
